In order to get the shave the smallest of timesaves, clever tricks are used. However as Minecraft itself updates, it often removes these trick, where once mcci updates to require the newer version of MC, matching the old run(s) is no longer possible. Here are some examples already.
Some changes would impact all runs for a given map
Patched in 1.20 Wouldn't get a block effect on the edge https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-1133
This really really only impacts beehive as WR uses it to bypass honey slowdown at start. WR video is now missing from that did that... (could've been used on air train with end slime but don't think anyone did)
Patched in 1.21.2 https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-275834 (see bottom comment) Pressing space on slime blocks no longer cancels your jump. This is actually a 1-2 second time loss on the ending of air train with the slime blocks, as holding space lowered your bounce while keeping your horizonal speed. Basically all runs on the leaderboard used this
Patched in 1.21.4 (releasing tomorrow) Sprint Sneaking: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-152728 this is about how you can move faster by holding your sprint key while moving before you press shift.
This impacts any run/map that uses sneaking, with Chilli Con Carnage being hugely impacted as it used for all the slab sections with ice. Funhouse is also slightly impacted.
Worth mentioning here, this also massively impacts parkour warriors as well since it is often used in ice parkour on top of shifting under slabs (hopefully it doesn't make one flat out impossible)
Just putting a list of the levels that don't have an IGT attached to them. So if you want to avoid doing the work of figuring out your time, avoid these levels/missions

Why is there not a glitch category for 100%?
Also for objectives, how is it determined that all have been done (is it that every objective is determined by the message that appears in chat (ie Objective: .....)?
You know if you got an useful bug counter if the enemies count is lower at the start of the round (if it is, then it is a glitched run since you skip killing the last mob of each round that you hold the offset by.) This bug is caused by exploding creepers somehow.
The Tracks of this game is a reskin of CARS RACE-O-RAMA (DS/PSP) https://www.speedrun.com/cars_ror_handheld
CARS RACE-O-RAMA = BEN 10: GALACTIC RACING (DS) Radiator Springs 1 = Primus Track 1 Radiator Springs 2 = Primus Track 2 Radiator Springs 3 = Primus Track 3 Santa Carburera 1 = Kylmyys Track 1 Santa Carburera 2 = Kylmyys Track 2 Santa Carburera 3 = Kylmyys Track 3 Santa Carburera ??? = Kylmyys Track 4 Ornament Valley 1 = Null Void Track 1 Ornament Valley 2= Null Void Track 2 Ornament Valley 3 = Null Void Track 3 Ornament Valley ??? = Null Void Track 4 Radiator Springs ??? = Primus Track 4
The ??? means it it doesn't fully exist on Cars. This could be useful to see if cuts on these tracks works on each others game.
Please add level runs to this game simliar to Cars Race-O-Rama since it turns out that this game is a reskin of those tracks lol
For level runs (glitched mainly), can I do them on a beated map since level mission you can redo? Also is prep allowed for them, as in setting up stuff ahead of time :) (before timer starts).
Since the map is make up of rooms (with a bunch of them being unused in the main courses), I was thinking that a table could be set up to have each possible room (tile name for row and difficulty for column).
This would allow players to use the code entry method to grind/practice a particular room of their choosing. Additionally it would become a easy resource to refer to for knowing the fastest route for any room. (this also allows for fast room time in a fail course run)
I know that this would lead to a flood of submissions, so I suggest that Individual levels be auto verify (aka, not too deeply looked into) with the community/player base being a backup incase a player goofs up the submission. (want to spare the lives of the mods)
Feel free to add onto this idea or tear it to shreds.
(random side note: I am working on a exploits run just that it is taking a long time since school and that Noxcrew made a much harder map to break)
Video showing what I mean, unlisted and costs a million minecoin....
So for bedrock edition, is there any way of getting a boat? Since the tnt was replaced with a snowball in the item frame.

Still early in development, so may not be fully updated (also some do have shortcuts that I didn't TAS because the old leaderboard time is better than me)
Emulator Rules: (These rules apply starting on January 25th, 2021) We are only accepting runs performed on the DeSmuME and Melon DS emulator (we may expand in the future)
The recording MUST Include: The full countdown before the race starts (3,2,1, GO!) Race results visible after the run. Game Sound/audio must be included and record live- Background sound and music is ok as long as the game is still audible. Runs that lag significantly more than a console run on the same track will not be accepted.
Replays will NOT be accepted for emulators, as in only recording what you get when pressing "View Replay"
DeSmuME (preferred emulator) Rules: These HUD features MUST be included, overlaid on top of the car window (not the timer screen), to be accept: Display FPS Display Frame Counter Display Lag Counter Display RTC (Use HUD Editing Mode to move them around, set font can change size of text so it is not as big, gse4x6 is the smallest I think)
One or both Input options must be included (Display Graphical Input and/or Display Input). It can be displayed anywhere on any screen. Any run uploaded prior to January 25th, 2021 can be grandfathered in for not having one of these two.
Example picture that includes all the HUD requirements can be found here:
Melon DS Rules: Just has to include the fps counter at the top of the screen and have sync audio checked (both are on by default)

You may or may not know me and the work that I do.
The days are numbered
Marked my words....
(not a threat to anyone, but the game itself)
found a house that has no hitbox and you can fall out of the map
This happened to me on one of my runs . Feel free to clip and post your bugs/glitches that you experience playing
Many level have short cuts in them some are easy to find/do but others I don't know if they are fast enough to be used (or if even possible). Additionally the checkpoints don't need to be in order but I hadn't found any use for that yet. Potential methods include water hopping (island and coast mostly), poor collision (can go through some stuff at high speed, or upside down on it)
This forum is to discuss about shortcuts and potential shortcuts may or may not be possible.
lvl Ideas: Island A5- no checkpoints so could water hop across map towards finish or cut off a part of the track. Problem- can't get back on track due to lack of collisions/ path blocked off
Stadium A4- jump off track right after first checkpoint on the right to skip the dirt section. Problem- I can't find a way to trigger the 2nd checkpoint from outside the track or get back on fast enough (there is a hump to the right of the start line but it seems to slow to use)
Stadium A2- turn around at start and go left and do the 2 checkpoints in reverse order and then off trail to finish. Problem- can't find quite fast enough route after the checkpoints
Coast F3- skip through loop. After checkpoint 7 get off road and drive over up checkpoint 8 and get on the track after the grass section (cuts off entire tarmac/ground portion) (off road by the jump or to the right right after the jump or far side where right arrow sign is) Problem- Bad driving skills (must keep speed) to test if fast enough and getting the 8th checkpoint seems a bit unreliable when driving over top it.
There are probably many more actual/potential shortcuts out there but here are some on the top of my head
