Only concern is if Twitch will mute the vod when this play. Sometimes the muting system is wonky.
This knife is single handedly making me not enjoy speedrunning this game.
TBH, separate the categories. I did a speedrun at 120 fps and 60fps and they feel vastly different.
Actually nevermind, the deathfog seems to have RNG on how it spreads. I placed a barrel and did the fight three times, all had different results.
So in lieu of the patch, I discovered one thing.
It's still possible to kill all the minions on the Dallis boat fight with just one deathfog barrel. That leaves one last barrel to use.
If we can come up a way to kill the advocate in 4/5 AP in one turn, then the rest of the run can still be doable in the way it is now.
The problem is -how- to kill adovcate quickly without the use of deathfog.
Yeah they patched it, so I guess the routing needs a whole new overhaul. What should we do with the current times then? Are they obsolete?
I don't understand how the barrels come back after the Dallis boat fight. I've done a quicksave before the fight started, but after finishing it the barrels are still destroyed.
Where exactly does the quicksave need to occur for it to work?
@kirkq First of all, Pojebunny is a complete liar. I still regularly check the site, I just myself haven't submitted a run and NOR HAS ANYONE ELSE for quite some time. I'm still part of the community, being in a discord isn't mandatory, lmao. I've muted you for reasons I won't say here that many others in the community can agree to.
Give me my moderator status back as I was the one that created it in the first place.
Thank you Tars for pointing this out on me.
Yeah this is the only problem I had when making Dirt Rally a speedrun game, because if we go by in-game time then it kinda defeats the purpose of RTA-ing it. My pc sucks.
Sure but you can't exactly choose the event or stages you wanna do.
Ive had times I wanted to do a Finland and the game kept giving me four straight Greeces lol.
All the other rally games follow the 5 second countdown so I'd assume its a community based thing to follow it. Though I am looking into loading times as an issue as theyre not consistent between users.
