The timing rules should probably be changed to end when you see credits as you still have player control and can still die while the boss is exploding if hit by a projectile which causes you to restart from the previous checkpoint.
yea, you can add your own runs there
We track high RNG meme runs in a spreadsheet over here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hCyPGO8Y4bmHGyZOmuhqD3FP-lR-NFjEE14RRANOI0s/edit#gid=774556320
Interest in heavy reset grind / short RNG categories having leaderboards is very low.
Congrats on your first speedrun completion. Heads up that this run is also eligible in the No Teleporter Any% category.
If you're looking for more Spelunky speedrunners to interact with we hang out in the spelunky community discord server over at https://discord.gg/spelunky-community in the #s2-speedrun channel.
if you want it on mossranking as well, yes, we don't sync back from sr.c currently.
We only host the most popular categories on speedrun.com. MossRanking (mossranking.com) is where we provide a more exhaustive list of categories as well as aggregate rankings across multiple categories. We have less control over how we present categories, and large numbers of categories are much messier on speedrun.com so the majority of our categories will remain on MossRanking exclusively. We do have automatic syncing setup on MossRanking so you can post in one place and have your runs automatically be posted on speedrun.com (for the categories that exist here).
New category suggestions are discussed in our Discord server https://discord.gg/spelunky-community however category suggestions hold much more weight coming from people who actually run the game.
There hasn't been discussion on what would constitute a good rule-set for co-op. If you'd like to propose a adding a co-op any% category there is an #s2-rule-discussion channel at https://discord.gg/spelunky-community which is where we discuss the addition, and rules, of new categories.
