George AI did not inflict damage to any enemy ( he was not in the room as me, the player) (so the game didnt count that he attacked or even done damage to any enemy) so its still actually count as a melee only run

the game considers stun rod as a melee weapon

the game only considers damage to enemies by the AI if the AI is in the same room as you so this is not a problem for melee only with AI
