I mean a timer pause, not a personal break. My english is bad, sorry. In any case it's sad to see MKW unspeedrunable with Dolphin.
Technically a speedrun is a single segment. If you take one break, it unvalids the run. But I understand your point, and it's possible to RTA w/o loading times like many speedruns.

I don't have a Wii anymore and I play Mario Kart Wii on Dolphin. I've read threads about loading times and as a Trackmania speedrun mod, I think IGT is necessary on MKW. There are 2 official supports, Wii and Wii U, they don't have the same loading timing and the speedrun must reward the faster racer instead of a better menuer. On all Trackmania games we are moving from real time to IGT, we can do this for MKW and MKW speedrunning will can be a thing. It could open MKW speedrun to emulators' users, like Crash Team Racing for example, it's the same rankings for PS1/PS2/PS3 and emulators.
Since I get back WR on Stadium² White (hi alpines :D), I'm training for TMT White. Going to be a nice challenge.

Remember that we used to begin at X01 and finish at X15 (where X is A, B, C, D or E).
That's why I have to reject Raynius' run, what begins at A06 and finish at A01. I know you couldn't earn much time doing in this order but everyone must play with the same rules.
