After some new Discoveries it can happen that the last cutscene won't be played so after completing all bundles. (Speaking of Junimo disappear cutscene)
New timing stops on the flash after the final bundle is completed. All exisitng runs will get 20 seconds removed to adjust for the change!
Please make sure in the Future to use the new Timing.
Thank you, Your Moderators!

Updates to Manifest-ID's will happen when game gets new major Updates and older Versions are needed. _
For the Actual Version, check the Integrity of the Game Files. The game should update itself back to the newest version. If that doesn't work, move the old version somewhere and put back in your newest version and try again.
!!! Since a recent Patch Steam disabled This Method. There is no KNOWN way except getting the files somewhere on the internet, to downpatch the game !!!
How to Downgrade to an older Patch (Steam only) [Windows] !!! This will not work for Mac or Linux !!!

You need to open the Console in your Steam Client. (steam://nav/console) <- Put this in your browser and hit enter, without brackets.
-
You type in the following command and fill in the variables(Without Quotation-marks): "download_depot <appid> <depotid> <target manifestid>" -> For Version 1.0x "download_depot 413150 413151 3352391531516945586"

Wait for Steam to download the depot. You won't see any indication of progress, but you can tell it's downloading by looking at the network usage on your downloads page. The download can pause/resume if your connection goes out, but won't if you restart the client.
-
After the download is done, Steam will show you where the files were downloaded to.
-
Go to the game's installation directory, and move the files somewhere else. Then go to where the depot files were downloaded to, and move everything over to the game folder.
-
You should now be able to launch the old version through Steam.
If Problems occur with this method, hit me up on Discord. I try to help where I can!

Mac and Linux downgrades will follow shortly, we want to check the Versions first.

Hello everyone,
I'm the Moderator of Stardew Valley and this issue is main talk in the community for weeks now. The new Patch that will come out on PC (and is already out on Console) will remove one very often used glitch.
Many runners are now in fear of their times.
We thought about changing the Leaderboard, so we can have Versions as category or sub-category in that manner. But that would divide and clutter the Leaderboard more and more.
The next idea was, that we would wipe the Leaderboard and all times. This wouldn't clutter the Leaderboard much. (Only 2 categories don't use this glitch)
The Dev (only one Dev), doesn't answer our calls so we probably can't expect the ability to change to older versions without digging in the code itself and programming it.
I write here today to get better ideas how to handle the incoming problem and the Speedrunning communities opinion on the actual ideas. Maybe we as a community find a better solution.
Sidenote: That glitch saves minutes up to hours depending on the category ran.
Thank you for taking your time.
The following Patch for Console shows why we should consider what happens.
Update (Jan 27): here are the patch notes
¤ Fixed potential loss of item in cursor slot when clicking the bundles tab in the pause menu. ¤ Fixed crash when hatching / buying baby blue chickens. ¤ Fixed crashes that sometimes occur when clearing quests out of the quest log. ¤ Petting a fully-happy animal no longer wraps happiness around to 0. ¤ Animals with a deluxe product no longer produce less at higher happiness. ¤ Fixed the golden pumpkin duplicate item exploit. ¤ Using Exit to Title and then loading up a different file ‘carries over’ some values and world state between games. This affects, among other things, the availability of chests in the mines. ¤ Possible fix for fertilizer boxes being placed instead of fertilizer.
That means if this Patch gets to PC, 95% of all Categories are unbeatable.
If we don't find a Solution to this, we might need to wipe the whole Leaderboard.
Right now we have SoundGlitch banned.
Explanation of Soundglitch:
- Disabling your Sounddrivers while the game is running an reenabling them causes the game to not be able to produce sound anymore. Because of this all Item Collection Animatons will be skipped.
Why is it banned?
- You have to forcefully disable Sounddrivers or glitch out your system to disable Sounddrivers for a Second. This is like the same as Tilting the Cartridge for an N64.
- The Community decided to ban this glitch.
This list only contains Glitches that are banned. We do know some other ways to trick this game, but these are "Hacks" and banned by default.

Yes, it's done.
I sat down a day and programmed the whole Cart Lady in with Items and Prices.
Only Rarecrow isn't 100% accurate, but the rest works for over 10 Files with the right order and prices so far.
¤The program is standalone, so you need the GameID from a file.
Now, because the Program works (Here is proof-> http://prntscr.com/arxb0l We might add the "Seed" Variable to the Runs, so people can use the program in runs.
Now I want your opinion on that idea.
Upcoming things for the program:
- Searching for a certain item, when it comes up. (Year,Spring,Day14 for ex.)
- Visuals.
Thanks to people on Reddit, we know how the game determines the items of the Traveling Cart.
The Thing is, we need the Game ID, which you can get by looking on the folder of the Savefiles.
So we discussed a bit and come to the following. (None of this is set, we want you on the Forums to give Feedback aswell)
-
Create a File and after the first saving, before you stand up from your bed, close the game. (Now you have a clean Savefile with an RNGseed)
-
Setting start of the Timer to Load Game of that Game, so you could copy your seed over to other tries for instance.
We're actually trying to get a programm which would show in which order, on which day, which Items are in the Travelling merchant. When we have that programm we would add a Variable to all Speedruns where every runner can say, with Seed or without Seed.
Banjo-Tooie and Banjo-Kazooie both use similar things.
Banjo-Tooie, uses a save-file which determines the pattern of the jinjo. (Jinjo Patterns are chosen the moment you create a file)
Banjo-Kazooie uses a programm where you can select the answers of the Gruntilda Questions to get the right answers for the questions.
If people are against one of these ideas. Please speak up, we won't decide alone because we are a community.
