At the time we made the leaderboard it was only me and one other person and we both moved to the PC vesion so we never split them. I can deffo split the console version off from the PC version as that would definitely make sense with the way the consoles load times are. I'll work on it when I can I'm pretty busy with school right now.
Hey, before I sink too much of my time on 100% speedruns I had a quick question: why are we not required to max out all upgrades in the crafting menu? That's part of 100% in as many other games as I can think of, and would love to see that be added here else it would be more like 85% speedrunning... lol. Any reason why they aren't included? Easy to verify they were completed too.
Thanks!
Any chance of adding a 100% category?
like 100% kills, 100% items and 100% secrets per level kind of thing? would be fun!

The achievements (https://www.xboxachievements.com/game/condemned/achievements) are displayed in the chapter completion screen of the chapter they were completed in even on the PC version of the game so things like all melee weapons achievement or beat the game using only melee weapons should be required as well.
Any interest in adding a 100% category? I am currently in the process of routing it (all birds all metal scraps and all achievements per chapter is pretty straightforward) and if I finish a run of it could be a pretty fun category ^_^
100% could be interesting. This game has a ton of collectibles and misc. tasks to complete
69 Patient Cards
4 Patient Recordings
4 RC Cars (secret memory of Adam)
4 Roses (Find the final resting place)
10 Mini Games (Fire and Sword)
Voxel Runner (Trapware mini game hiscore 3,000)
Adam's Trapware (could just require all Dream Eater Sequences)
so did you guys come up with a consensus? Recently got this game off epic and wanted to run 100% but don't want to waste my time making a route only to find out I didn't need to figure out how to erase my achievements.
Also, now that I reread my comment... the epic launch version doesn't even have these achievments. lol...
Easiest solution is to just set the split key to the same key as the key used to pick up items. Since you only have to press it to pick up pages lol
A cool feature to have would be to split when we pick up a page or journal entry (for hundo) but I'm not sure how much effort (or if its even possible) that would take.
Sweetness :D Thanks for putting in the effort Trigger <3
I'll work on this at work if I get downtime
Any chance we can add a No Huts category? Since its a feature in the game I figured it would make a cool category.
Also a 100% category would be pretty legit as well. 100% would be defined as: obtaining all perks, crafting one of each item (easy to keep track of these), explore every tile of the map, upgrade starship to max? (I think this is RNG on alloys so it would be pointless to include). And anything else that would probably be needed that Im not thinking of lol.
I'm definitely interested in doing No Hut runs though ^^
if I chose to do the collector ending would that matter? Since there are no rules defined for this category?
feel free to join the discord if you want and we can time stuff some time :D I really love grinding out data on matrix games
I did several time testing with it and the amount of time it takes to get to the swat and the time it takes the police to kill neo is identical. At a certain point into the training it is faster to just die early rather than getting to a stronger enemy. I think the best time I got was like 1:45 or 48 somewhere in there.
Well to be fair I just copied over the rules from the enter the Matrix thread without thinking about how different the two games were. That actually sounds completely fine for me. Only thing I can think of are some of the earlier levels you can simply hold space bar to skip the upgrade screen making it somewhat annoying to run ILs in succession with one another if you want to use a timer lol. But all levels appear to have a loading screen just after the upgrade screen anyway so verifying runs from that point would be just as easy. Ill change the rules to correct the oversight when I wake up tomorrow :D
Something like "Timing starts upon confirming upgrades and ends when loss of character control occurs" or something like that should work for all levels.
Hey I just recently got a run in 100% and submitted it to the leaderboards. Are you still active on here? :o
