Hi guys, so I did a 100% run today and then saw, that the rules for 100% say: "The run starts as you start the first race and ends after the last race ends." Now I find this rule to be O.K. for other categories (e.x. race, street etc.) since you start with an already created file and a car. Since the rule for any% is: "Timing starts when you press 'Career' in the main menu and stops when the movie with the three gold cups starts playing", I though for 100% it should be the same, since you do start from the very beginning like in any% and both categories require you to play from the beginning to the end.
What are your thoughts about it?
Hi guys, so I went to speedrunslive.com recently and found out, that no one has raced Flatout 2 there, there aren't any categories saved there at all. I think it would be really fun to race other people in this game live, where all funny and frustrating moments will remain in the video. I think any% and Derby Class might get popular among other people who own Flatout 2 but never played it. I am even up to (oh... dare I say it...) racing the 100% category. Anyone want to share their thoughts on this?
Hi guys, I am planning on running this game. I own the old retail version of the game (don't have the CD anymore but I have copied the files from computer to computer) and I wanted to ask, if I can submit a run on it (I will probably have also a live stream on twitch) or do I have to use the Steam version (it is discounted atm so I can buy it.) Also in my retail version, pressing the "Enter" key really fast sometimes results in flickering/black screen at the start of the race and the race needs to be restarted and I assume the Steam one doesn't have this problem, will it be considered a legal run if I get that bug? Thanks for the replies in advance. Cheers!
