This is a forum for the speedrun leaderboards only. For a general forum about the game and mods, you should seek a different forum.
Little Fighter Empire is the best global community nowadays. While the forums are a bit dead, the community is still active. Either post in the LFE forums or join their Discord.
Oh, right, my bad. OpieOP The thing is, I didndidn't read the rules well enough. I saw "result screen" and assumed that it's when it appears rather when you close it. TBH I prefer the former method.
On that note, I'm looking for a new mod to verify runs, as clearly I'm not fit to the job.
When I went frame-by-frame, the final result screen appeared on the 57th second (Around 57.92). The way I see it, times should always be rounded down and human error such as spliting late should not be counted.
Do the time challenges count towards 100%? Even if not, I don't like calling this "100%", rather I'd call this "all secrets" instead.
What about all the time challenges spread around the city? Do they have to be beaten to complete the game 100?
I made one back in 2018, but it's not something that is worth putting on the leaderboards.
https://www.speedrun.com/wosds#Any_NG Created the page back in the summer, but forgot to mention that here.
PC has been the most dominant and competitive version since at least 2019. The top players have either always played PC or switched versions once they felt comfortable enough.
Make PC great again.
Preparing time for the run is the hard part for me. Once I'm past early game, I can fully commit to the run until the end, no breaks. I have a glass of water beside me, which I drink during loading times. Of course, I'm totally exhausted by the end of the run, but I recover from that pretty easily. As for the run itself, I do it without notes. I have the whole thing memorized and if I miss something, notes will not help much to figure out what I'm missing. The run started at ~5:30 hours, now it's under 5 hours.
Setting the crop in the first place+the fact that I don't place the game in the exact same pixles with every launch. Unless I'm missing something
Admittedly, it works, but it's impractical for me to use.
There's a game called Little Fighter 2 that OBS does't detect. "Game Capture" doesn't recognize the game at all and "Window Capture" only records a still frame of the game. This game only runs in window mode and doesn't have video/resolution options. I'm able to record other games that I forced into window mode - they're originally full-screen games with video/resolution options.
I suspect this issue started when I added a second monitor that's connected directly to the CPU. I can't plug it into the GPU right now, so I wonder, what can I do in the meantime?
I played this game on my Win98 machine. The game has always ran at 60FPS and Zurg as always acted like that. It has nothing to do with modern hardware. (Modern hardware is what's causing the glitched textures/graphics in some places)
^That's the PSP/PS2 version. Did not make a page for the DS version because no one ran it. I'll create a page for it, but I'd rather you posting a run before.
I had a similar problem. It's not entirely the same, but the bottom line is, I also had dropped frames/stuttering issues. Hopefully this will help. In the output tab, I set it to this: [Preset: Performance | Profile: Baseline] I changes these variables to this: [Preset: Quality | Profile: High] These settings solved the issue for me.
Good to know I'm not the only one. It's worth to note that this happens whether the game runs at full screen or windowed mode. Guess the only option is to wait for an update that fixes this.
Once again, the streams page shows streams that were over for hours.
