I feel like banning accessibility options is a bad look. If you want to not use them, it'd be better to simplify keep it a separate category/ruleset

You may on PC, since downpatching is readily available. Console runs require the latest patch, however.
Apparently so, but the guaranteed skele despawn is all I've found. The end goal is still on old (longer) timing, unfortunately. But I did talk to Modus who said a patch is coming to correct that.
Started messing around on Switch... All the bugs seem to work the same. Also the skeletons have failed to spawn EVERY time, even on grey knight without setting up any button glitches. Honestly seems like the ideal platform?
"i've never seen the gunner not spawn, and i've reset right after hitting the button. is there something more to it?"
I'm not sure. When I reset after hitting the button, I used the squire teleporters to go back to C8 to set up the other buttons. I'm not sure if this is why it didn't respawn?
I assume this is also why the lazers at the end sometimes don't spawn. They're still turned off form the prior run so long as you don't die from C6 onward.
All three buttons (the one for Checkpoint 7 and both for Checkpoint 8 ) will remain pressed after you restart, but will reset if you die anywhere from Checkpoint 6 onward. Dying prior to C6 is "safe" because the zone with the buttons is unloaded.
Not currently.
The emulation would have to be tested thoroughly to ensure accuracy to console play.
That said, it's backwards compatible on Xbox systems, and has current accessibility through Microsoft store. Homecoming doesn't suffer from scarcity issues, so we generally haven't considered emu necessary.
I think I sent this to Droogie elsewhere, but for any newcomers: The Homeless Man glitch is caused by not picking up a town map. The easiest map to grab is either the one just before leaving the building after the train ride, or the one on the park bench by Dig Spot 1.
Oops! Just edited it and swapped it. Thanks for the heads up.
