New York, USAWe had it in the Pikmin Series at one point a few years ago, but the mods of the Pikmin Series decided we didn't want to have it be in there anymore.
Well, yeah, I'm a series moderator for Pikmin. And we've been having a discussion lately about potentially adding the Wii versions as a separate board. I thought I'd get ahead of it and start creating the leaderboard ahead of time, but the discussion shifted and we're not going in that direction anymore for Pikmin 1, so I'd rather see that page disappear. I honestly have no interest in bragging about being a leaderboard mod, I just want what's best for the community as a whole.
Well, I am a super mod, it's under 2 weeks old, but I couldn't find anything. I'll check out that support hub, thanks!
So in the Pikmin community, I thought we were in agreement to add the New Play Control version of Pikmin 1 as a separate game, so I went ahead and added it here. After further discussion, we decided to keep it all as a single game page with separate tabs for the GC and Wii version. Is there an easy way to get rid of the New Play Control page I just created?

The demo is allowed for runs of Tropical Forest on chr.mn/pik4 (the Mission Mode leaderboard for the Pikmin series). Other than that, I can't think of any categories you can use the demo for, besides Bad Ending, or maybe 6 fruits (but you wouldn't be able to do the fastest 6 Fruits route without access to Tropical Wilds).
Co-op runs are currently tracked on the Category Extensions board, as there doesn't seem to be much interest in it, and we didn't want to clutter the main board with too many unnecessary sub-categories. Feel free to submit any co-op runs there!
I know what you mean. There's a category for that under Misc.
ILs are different, and not tracked on speedrun.com. The IL leaderboard can be found at chr.mn (Mission Mode Score Leaderboard link on the side)
As I said, ILs are on chr.mn. That site is better suited for score-based ILs anyway. There's a link to it in the sidebar of Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
In addition to chr.mn that LPhantom mentioned, there are also categories for Collect Treasure, Battle Enemies, and Defeat Bosses RTAs on the main Pikmin 3 Deluxe board (i.e. play through all of Row 1 in a row)
Leaderboards for Mission Mode ILs can be found by clicking the Mission Mode Score Leaderboard tab in the sidebar. and there is a category for Defeat Bosses, it's under Misc.

Once we have enough ideas for Category Extensions, All Badges would fit great on that page, imo.
Hi everyone! With the recent English translation of the Japanese site chr.mn/pik4 (See Mission Mode Score Leaderboard on the sidebar), we are considering removing the IL leaderboard here, and shifting focus for ILs to chr.mn.
I believe this will be better for the community in the long run, to have a single leaderboard that is more complete, rather than two separate leaderboards. This will be the solution for Pikmin 3 Deluxe, however, seeing as the IL leaderboard in Pikmin 3 Wii U is more established here, I wanted to get everyone's thoughts about this before making any changes.
There's no plan to add Demo% or any similar category to the leaderboards. See Kap's above response. It's a category that will be completely obsolete in 2 days. That's why the only category we've added so far is the IL for Tropical Forest.
Essentially, what we are doing for individual Mission Mode levels is, instead of hostin the leaderboard here on speedrun.com, there is another site (chr.mn) that hosts Mission Mode high scores for the entire Pikmin series, and we will be using that site for Individual Levels. There is a link to that site on the sidebar (Mission Mode Score Leaderboard).
Full-game runs of Story Mode (i.e. Any%, Good Ending, All Fruits) and longer Mission Mode categories (i.e. Row 1, All Levels, etc.) will still be here on speedrun.com, chr.mn is only for Individual Levels.
Because this is the page for Pikmin 3 Deluxe. The reason the only category we have so far is Collect Treasures Tropical Forest is because that is the only category that we are planning to have that is also possible to do in the demo. For example, we don't want to add Beat The Demo, or something like that because the category will be obsolete once the full game comes out. I hope that makes sense!
