I am up to add more categories if runs are done of them beforehand, that way there are not a bunch of categories without runners. As for Co-Op, I don't know why that hasn't been added yet so I will definitely add that.
The runs without "cheats" have glitches in them though
I will add you as a mod since I was planning on adding some of the people who start to run this game when they started running and let them decide most of the rules. I recommend joining the discord also so that proper discussions can happen since SRC forums are not very convenient.
The rules state,"Both players do not need to be present the entire time." That means that it does not matter if there is solo play as long as there is at least one instance of Co-Op. It is almost always faster to play with two players joined in, the only exception being transition skips and maybe a handful of sections. In my Co-Op run I opted to play solo during the transition skip parts since they can only be performed with with one player at a time, and during parts that would either be easier for me to do by myself, or places where the other runner was not comfortable. While it can be a bit dumb and unfair to the other player to have drop outs, it's a part of the game and the instances of dropping out are far less than the instances of both players being joined in.
I think that is because he is playing on a file that has already beaten the game which is allowed on the individual year runs. In other words, it wouldn't be able to be done in Any%.
The version you're trying works on wii only, there is a new version of the trick that should work for you which looks like this I know the video is LSW 1 but this was found on TCS.
Extras are allowed in any catergory as long as they are purchased legit and not unlocked via cheats, except for NG+ and Freeplay RTA because it doesn't matter how you get them. That's how it works in every LEGO game.
You need to beat the tier 1 level thing in order to get boost I tried it my first run.
The All Missions run had a good start then the last hour was complete and utter shit
I got like a 2x:xx in Any%, will highlight and upload later, it was a terrible run though
I've been thinking about it, and I feel like we should made to new categories, Any% (Cheats) and All Missions (Cheats) or something along those lines. All Missions (Cheats) wouldn't require collecting items which would make it faster and more fun. Any% (Cheats) would be a lot faster but it would be a similar run to Cheat% for Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom. You could add a variable to the leader boards also that separates Cheats from Cheatless by having a split category like the categories on the LEGO Star Wars leaderboards which I am mod of http://www.speedrun.com/lsw you can see what it would be like, I made it so Solo and Co-Op are separate.
Hello, I would like to learn any% for this game and I was wondering if there was a basic route that was made.
