Hello, I would like to request that CaptDrake be removed as Super Mod of Shovel Knight. He has been inactive on our leaderboard for a long time.
I am for these changes as well.
The rules for NG+ were not intended to discourage people to do the run without the code. When the leaderboards were made there was...one active runner for Shovel NG+. At that same time the regular difficulty received the benefit of less map encounters if you were under a certain time. This was a huge boon, and most of us around agreed that NG+ was fine to use the code because there were so few runners and the code seemed to encourage more people to try it. We kept it the same for Plague and it honestly wasn't until later that I realized that it skipped the Black Knight 2 fight. So we left it as is.
That said, these rules were not meant to be set in stone. They are a product of their time and should be updated if the community at large wants it. I do think having a misc category or something for the code would be neat because it is still a fun run to compete in.
I agree the image should be changed.
As for the subcategories, that's a remnant of speedrun.com and how they set up leaderboards. That's the reason specter has all sheets.

Luckily we don't use auto mashing and the game itself allows you to bind anything other than the numbers to more than 1 button.

I'll think about it though. I understand that it technically would be lowest possible % to not get the coins, and it makes sense to make that a criteria since in most other games it is "lowest possible %".
The reason I do not want to make low% avoid all coins is because of this: The point of low% is to restrict what you use as far as upgrades go. The coins don't directly give you any extra abilities. If someone did low% shovel knight and they got a music note I would still count the run as low% since they met the criteria of no extra upgrades.
I think we'd just make low% no upgrades. having to avoid coins is ridiculous. though it could be interesting.
Not sure if this is a good place to post this, but I am at the end of my rope. I am a mod for the Shovel Knight leaderboards and a new character was released yesterday. Now, I have made a character variable on the leaderboards and made the Shovel Knight and Plague Knight values. So when people submit runs they can choose either character. The problem is this: if I go to the leaderboards and select Shovel Knight under the drop down menu, there are no times. All the runs for Shovel Knight are just under "Character:". I think this is because all those runs were submitted before you could select a character. Is there a way to just mass edit all the runs so they appear under Shovel Knight as a character, or is there an easier fix?
