Of note: I start the 0:50 video a frame or so before the 0:52 video. The 0:50 run did not go back to the main screen. Perhaps this has something to do with the discrepancy.
Here is a side by side comparison of a 0:50 time AnEmptyBox gets and a 0:52 time I got yesterday. If you don't wanna watch the video, basically my time is about a second faster than his, yet my in-game time is two seconds slower. I feel like this is a big problem for running ILs of this game, but I would like other people's opinion on the matter.
I will attempt to recreate a 0:52 or a 0:50 (or faster, shouldn't be too difficult) with quitting out to the main menu and then compare the times again.
Hey, I'd like to start an IL section for this game, as it lends itself better to individual level runs rather than full ones. I have a few times already and would like to start populating it.
I propose a rule for ILs as well. The level must be started clean through level select. The idea is that someone should not be able to play the level before and use the carry-over ammo in the next level. This will make running ILs less tedious, as well as make it truly an "individual level" run, rather than two levels ran in tandem.
Cheers.
