It is probably desync due to lag. It happens to Jake and I on pc as well and it only happens at certain sections like QTE cutscenes.

I feel like I'm necroing but I still feel the need to address this. I play the game on an SSD and the game runs flawlessly, it seems that your lag is coming from either your CPU or GPU having to cache things before being able to run everything at full speed.

Man this is some spicy resentment from both sides here. I don't see the problem with people using an external leaderboard for an event like RE5 Bingo that has nothing to do with speedrunning. This place is primarily for speedrunning and where most of the community is centered so no one can really split the community. The only way that can happen is if people feel like they are being driven out which does not seem to be the case. This whole argument seems odd, as if everyone is just picking fights just to pick fights.

My 2 Cents. RTA for NG, IGT for NG+. But also submit an RTA time for NG+ so you can't sit in the menu's after a level. Cheers.

Why are we calling 100% what it is called? You don't even collect all the filters, all the statues, and get every weapon to have infinite ammo. The 100% category is just collect% where you collect every in game obtainable item not 100% the game. I honestly think the name should change to collect%. Its just a scavenger hunt category.

Bringing in nationality does nothing to the discussion Hoobie. It's great to see nothing has changed. We still have to dance around the passive aggressive posting and the resentment on the board because the admins do not want to change the rules every month.

Deln, I recommend you come up with a mock rule set that is similar to the ones you can find for the other categories as Jcstrickland has said. From there the mods can quickly do some finishing touches that you may not have thought up, fix formatting, etc. Otherwise you will have to wait on the mods to create the ruleset when they too are busy people.

This place is getting out of control pretty quickly. With our only mod being Snow, it is only going to get worse till we get a few more mods to start sorting things out. Hopefully new mods will be selected soon, Jake is a good start but one more is probably a good idea.

Why is it when I come on here to try and find a serious discussion, I come in and see nothing but childish banter and the complete lack of maturity on the forum? This is a thread about rules and you guys joke about committing suicide and say "allahu akbar." Its things like this that people see and say to themselves, "Maybe, I should try to say something so they can move forward." Instead they just get met with hostility because they don't run the game despite the fact their point may be entirely valid.

This community has already proven itself incapable of setting aside personal biases for personal gain. The moderators should just close this discussion and lay down the rules they agree on as fair for everyone and we should all accept them. If you do not like the rules they set talk to them or leave. These threads are just now endless loops.

@RE_Snow I think its pretty rude to group a bunch of people who want RTA for real reasons into a group that does not represent them. From what I understand, you primarily run NG+ where IGT is a perfect indicator for how fast the players run the game. Where I primarily run NG where RTA is the best indicator because menuing is an important aspect of the run which is not timed on the In-game timer.

If you want the best decisions for everybody, I think everyone needs to realize that these rules might screw some people over and that might be something that is going to happen no matter what. So far in this game we have a bunch of rules open to interpretation that leaves too much leniency for runners.

We need some strict rules that everyone needs to follow. Rules like you need both sides to record should be required for a game like this. Right now, we have the need for only host perspective which leaves your coop partner 100% free to do anything to their settings and it would be nearly impossible to tell if the rules are being followed.

This entire "democracy" idea for establishing rules is entirely ridiculous, we have already seen the terrible side effects from runners thinking they have a chance to influence the rules campaigning for rule changes that only work in their favor. I'm not saying Auddy that you and the other mods shouldn't ask the community for ideas or anything but right now its currently ridiculous.

@Hoobie Could post some type of proof that your load remover is working? Just like Auddy07 and crew, the autosplitter works correct but not the load remover.

In the previous forum both people stated they would rather not allow it to suspicion of other types of mods or that it was technically modding not really a definitive no like you just gave me. Thank you for a more clear answer though that was all I was looking for.

I saw that it was asked about reskinning characters but it was never officially answered. I was hoping to be able to mod my Chris costume to another costume. I primarily run NG Amateur and was hoping to get some sort of definitive answer. Edit: I should have mentioned this is on Steam even though it might be obvious.
