I've tried all the F keys but is the only way to save just using typewriters and ink ribbons? Thanks.

So a typical Jill/Best Ending/No Damage/No Save run is around 1:20:00 on PCSX ReARmed but it'll be like 1:35:00 if I do the same exact run and everything on Duckstation or Mednafen (Retroarch cores included). Anyone know why? The game itself plays exactly the same except there's longer loading times between doors and black screens. I'll arrive in the dining room with Jill and Barry at around 0:01:19 on PCSX ReArmed but it'll be at around 0:01:27 on either of those. I'm using the same BIOS too. Thanks.

It's the most accurate and psxjin/Bizhawk are both a pain in the ass (I can't get the latter working at all).

I extracted it and only ended up with 2 unknown files (). This is unlike the installation guide (s) on YT and posted here. What am I supposed to do next?
