Yes! You can adjust the actuation and reset points, even with rapid trigger.
SOCD, Snap Tap, Rappy Snappy, etc are hardware nulls and should not be used. Don't use Dynamic Keystrokes, it binds multiple inputs to different key press stages, essentially making it a scripted sequence.

That should be legal. Many runners execute bind commands during run to rebind keys. ex mouse1/2 +jump/-duck for TC skip.
