Not sure what to call this tbh. I just randomly doodle monsters when I'm bored.
Elementary was fun. Middle school was hell. High school wasn't too bad but mostly MEH; I used to skip my chemistry class, walk over to the CD exchange, and smoked cigarettes by the building. I admit I had a pretty crappy attitude but that's common among teens. College was an interesting wonderland of various professors, their classes, and some nutjobs with outrageous egos. It's been a loooong while since I graduated.
If I could start over, I probably would've made more of an effort to be involved in extracurricular activities and socialize with everyone. I was so worked up over my own self-identity that I never truly explored high-school.
@Act_ I quite enjoy Colorado. Last time I got to visit Pike's Peak and Mount Evans. I love the teeny tiny flowers at the top of the peak! I've never seen anything like them before. Also saw a bunch of goats. And I threw a peach pit off the cliff, just for fun. XP
I might take another trip up there in the near future. I did get to "go" to Casa Bonita, but didn't get to actually eat there because the line was ungodly long. I heard the food is mediocre but just for the sake of saying, "I ate at Casa Bonita" would be awesome.
It made me realize I could have a chance at the top, even if it isn't as big a hill to climb. It's great being able to say you were the best at something, even if the moment lasts but a few months. I now know how annoying it is trying to keep a title. There's little more than intrinsic value and the pursuit of small competition is more of a personal endeavor.
As I approach my forties, I would think that I'd stop. While it isn't as prevalent in my list of priorities anymore (job, kids, self-improvement, house, pets, etc to take care of) I still find myself going back to classics every now and then. And my kiddos are all about videogames so I always have an opportunity to play with them.
Realistically, I may one day be too old to play when my eyesight fades and my joints get painful. Yesterday was the first time I experienced pain from damp weather. My check engine light is on, but my heart still beats for the games.
As a Korean... I fucking hate k-pop. Mainly because it reminds me of obsessive Americans who bloviate about their alleged knowledge of Korea, occasionally mispronouncing entire sentences without conjugating properly. I would be flattered if I weren't so creeped out and uncomfortable.
I have three doggies. And I would have cats too if I weren't terribly allergic.
Also... PIZZACULT! Praise Cheesus who died for our pepperoni. It was though their sacrifice we are free to enjoy warm flat bread. Marinara spread delicately over the top, with savory toppings of all sorts. Shun the vegetarians and non-believers! For they are heretics forbidden from the kingdom of Father John. And we do not talk about the pineapple sect of the cult.
I have three dogs. A german shepherd (Samson), a jack russel terrier (Carmie), and some mixed mutt (Sancho).
Samson, the big dumb wookie who perpetually thinks he's a puppy and always begs for attention especially when we have company. I have to keep telling him to stop pawing at people, and to stop trying to dig up his own shadow. As a result our backyard has virtually no grass because he annhilated it. I think he has a vendetta against the 15 full grown oak trees we have on our property because he always chews the roots.
Sancho, the perverted old man who won't stop molesting Samson. A few times when I walked the dogs, he intentionally walked beneath Samson's urine stream and also ate his poop. Dirty old hobo dog.
Carmie, the obstinate old gypsy lady in dog form. If she were a human she would be a Karen. She complains, I let her go outside, and she immediately complains again because she wants to go back inside. Literally 30 seconds after I let her out, I hear her incessant caterwaullings of indignant outrage.
Will post pics soon.
My bezier curve pseudocode example.
Arguments: x1, y1, x2, y2, x3, y3, x4, y4 var step = 0.05; vertex_A = (x1, y1); for (var i = 0; i <= 1; i += step){ var ix = abs(x1 - x2) * i; var iy = abs(y1 - y2) * i; var jx = abs(x2 - x3) * i; var jy = abs(y2 - y3) * i; var kx = abs(x3 - x4) * i; var ky = abs(y3 - y4) * i; var iix = abs(ix - jx) * i; var iiy = abs(iy - jy) * i; var jjx = abs(jx - kx) * i; var jjy = abs(jy - ky) * i; var bx = abs(iix - jjx) * i; var by = abs(iiy - jjy) * i; } vertex_B = (x4, y4);
Probably my introduction when I mentioned I also like programming and driving fast? I don't really keep track of this. If you agree with me in any way, that's cool. If you have no reaction, that's cool too.
I have too many. But if I had to narrow them all down to specific meals...
Pizza -It's very difficult to go wrong with pizza. If I need a go-to meal with large portions I always order a few pizzas from my favorite places. Stuffed crust supreme with garlic sauce is my fave.
Arabic/Mediterranean -Biryani rice with chicken shawarma or lamb. Hummus on the side, pita bread, and olives. Maybe some tzatziki as well.
Sushi -I can easily destroy 5-8 rolls in a single sitting. The best is when I go to an all-you-can-eat. White tuna is my favorite.
Surf'n'Turf -My mom would occasionally treat my sister and I to some surf'n'turf at different steak houses, sometimes at Eddie V's. Blue rare steak with south african lobster tail isn't cheap but it's definitely worth it.
