I think it's an All Bosses run, but there's a run on Nicolive that uses a cooking glitch to make 100k G. If you put a weed in a certain spot in your inventory, use the touch screen to hover it over an ingredient slot in the Kitchen, then press A, you get a glitched dish that sells for ~100k G.
(Happens around ~7:15): www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm33232798
Can also press L+Select on the final frame of a "Return to Dungeon Entrance" warp, then go through a door for the same invincibility glitch as being pushed up stairs during the animation. It is hard to do consistently, but it would really only be needed for a quicker / easier first half of Greed Cave
Individual Event Paths are now listed in the IL section
Here's G_Heinz' Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/u/g_heinz Has in-depth Cutscene requirements, affection notes and a few of his routes. I don't know if he has one for Azure, but I made an up-to-date route a few days ago. It's really unorganized and missing stuff, but I'll fix it up and put it in the guides section tonight. We also have a Discord for Harvest Moon Runs if you have any questions about routing and stuff: https://discord.gg/UqpKP4g
Found this in FES earlier. Not sure if it's already known about or if it'd be useful in runs, but it works in P3P too. Mashing doesn't seem to work too well, so I try to time the Square-press when the map loads in.
Not sure if this is already known about, or how useful it'd be in a run, but it's done by moving forward and opening the Square-menu every frame. Haven't tested it with Fuuka yet. Edit: Works with Fuuka.
100% Requirements are: -All 10 Power Berries -All 7 Event Photos -All 18 Fish -All 27 Bugs -All Plant Photos for the gender you're using -All Farm Extensions -Good Ending
The Farm Extensions cost a total of 180k g in the run, but you can get 30k for free by winning the Horse Races. You could trade a chicken to another cartridge and back again to make it golden, which sell for 10k g each, but that's banned, iirc. We don't know the exact reqs. for the Good Ending, but I'm looking into it. If it has anything to do with GBC 1 & 3, it's most likely Happiness / # of Shipments / A few of each animal / Power Berries.
Edit: Good Ending reqs. are 10,000 total shipments, all 10 power berries, 70 happiness, 3 of each animal.
There are guides, but all of them give the same requirements, which were all proven wrong. G_Heinz & I have looked into it a bit, and both of us were only able to get it with all 3 of the special tools, which we don't know the exact requirements for yet. He's found requirements that work, but we'll have to do more testing to find the minimums
Because getting "Ranch Master" has been debunked by multiple people, could other categories be added like: 1K items shipped, or all special tools & upgrades, or even a max%; just so people have something to run?
Edit: Ranch Master was confirmed a few months ago, so there's no need for new categories to be added.
Does anyone have a list just of the sprites you get in the Rescue Harvest Goddess run? I'm thinking of running the game, and a list of sprites would be good for runs.
Damn, must've messed that up.
Maybe once this game gets more competitive, the times could be converted.
For the first option; that would be something done by the mods when verifying the time, so runners wouldn't need to worry about it, and would just use their splits. If they cared about showing WR, they could do an NTSC to PAL conversion themselves.
For the second option; that's why I considered the frame rate conversion, because it's not like switching to JP for faster text speed, it's buying the same game, that just has a faster frame rate.
PAL to NTSC conversion: Change everything (hours and or minutes) to seconds, multiply the total by 0.96, then divide by 60. (The result will be in minutes.)
NTSC to PAL conversion: (For people on PAL that want to show a WR.) Change everything (hours and or minutes) to seconds, multiply the total by 1.04, then divide by 60. (The result will be in minutes.)
Should PAL times be converted to what an NTSC time would be? Because the Nami record would be a 57:52 if played on NTSC, and the record for Celia would be a 31:32 if on NTSC. It doesn't seem fair to call something a "World Record" if someone has played better than you, but their game runs at a slower frame rate.
