I was thinking of (maybe) doing of a speedrun on inFAMOUS 1, but I just want to know if it is okay if I use RPCS3 (PS3 Emulator) to speedrun the game because I don't hear a lot of inFAMOUS players in this Speedrun community talking about it.
There is a out of bound glitch in the mission "Children of Blacklight" where you fight the Supreme Hunter boss for the first time. Its a pretty interesting one, but I feel like it'll need video from me on how to do it and how to explore. I'm also planning of making a video of showing all possible skips in the missions of Prototype. And speaking about a glitch, I suggest you going to "Guides" > select "Tendril Barrage damage boost tutorial" > watch it (there are timecodes there if you need them to skip the part you don't know) and there, you have found a glitch in the Tendril Barrage devastator that almost every time instant kills enemies. Thank you for a making a new theard of this game's speedrun community and I wish you good luck on finding out of bound areas of this game that no one has ever found.
How about a NG+ Research%? Because the remastered version on PS5 will let you fast travel the Research by going the PS5's quick menu and selecting "start activity" that is Research instead of going the map menu and picking the closest police or train station that is near to any Research.
I was thinking if someone would do a NG+ speedrun of Marvel Spider-Man Remastered on Research stations only because I was playing the remastered version on the PS5. I pressed the home button which let me to the quick menu and the first I saw was the "Research" activity and then selected "start activity". When I selected that activity, the game or the PS5 made me fast travel to the Research station without me going to the map menu to pick the closest police or train station that is near to that Research station. I don't know if this "fast travel to the Research without going to the game's map menu" is actually permitted and allowed, but I was just wondering and thinking if someone could actually do that.
I did a Speedrun of Prototype 1 on Hard+ and I’m waiting for the @DaMidget2000 to verify it.
Guys I found a skip in the “First And Last Things” mission. When you found the leader hunter that Alex couldn’t consumed properly, you can actually skip the fight of the hunters guarding the leader hunter by getting close to the leader hunter, shooting it with a gun (and helicopter) or using the whipfist’s long range attack on it and the game will say “Objective Compete” despite the hunters guarding the leader hunter being still alive. And for luring the leader hunter to the abandoned overran marine base, you will get annoying random military that will spawn in front of you and attacking the leader hunter making it lose its interest on you which you really don’t want. To avoid random military spawning in front of you and attacking the leader hunter. Use a helicopter to make the leader hunter follow you to the abandoned overran marine base. (I done this multiple times, it works.)
