What I meant by questionable is that for me specifically, any strategy involving pausebuffering may result in more wasted time than you may be experiencing, mostly due to the difficulty of doing it with my bindings. As for 100%, pausebuffering on Cheetahman was a necessity because playing with Sonic the UFO phase is almost unplayable, but as you may have noticed, I spend a lot of time doing damage because it's just inconvenient and unpleasant for me.
So, I managed to gather all the necessary material to create a video with a near-perfect playthrough of the game with all existing modern strats for Boshy.
Since this is a compilation of entire individual worlds, you may see some sub-optimal moments where pausebuffers or moonwalking are used. This was generally intended to be the case, to more realistically define the human limit in this game.
This compilation does not include the new strategies related to shots through collision, as this glitch still needs to be worked around

I would sugest name the glitch like "Pause-Glitch". Probably It's something new, but I don't still think so
So yeah, I've got this glitch after some time. Anyways, I would be against using such a variation of drag-glitch, although in this case we do not manipulate the window, but we still force the game to make a shot through the blocks, which actually changes the philosophy of runs very significantly.
I think this discussion thread will be the main step towards making clear rules of the game, which will include rules for using the pause buffer and frame rate manipulation.
Also like 2 years ago was found another way to get Wrong Warp glitch through F3 (menu for changing characters), and then it may uses for 100% runs which also made a mess of this category
I think this is mostly considered FPS manipulation, because not every system is capable of working perfectly at 50 FPS, and most likely in your case there is a microglitch that allows you to shoot through walls. I think so, because using the example of my system, such manipulation of shots is impossible for some reason, only using drag-glitch. Accordingly, it can be concluded that this is unacceptable according to the rules of the RTA.
Saves like .4 seconds. There's good setup for that where you get line-up when falling to save and after save-reload moving to the left and make in first frame jump before falling down

On Shang Tsung the Double Shot glitch is not woking that's fine because is never working for him. Also it isn't working for Skeleton King, Hello Kitty, King DeDeDe, Ganon
