Yep, the categories used to be split up like 30/40/50 token rather than platform
There are different versions of the game on PC for different languages. Archive.org has some downloads. But as far as I know there is no way to change the language of a specific copy
Which settings? N64 Emu has a similar problem (Vi Refresh Rate), so we just require to keep it at a certain value. In general, Solarson and I have discussed adjusting PS times based on load times for PS/PS2/PSTV/Emu. So that's a possibility
I would doubt your computer is too modern, 1660 Ti is what I have. Have you gone to "Download Links and Mirrors for All Resources" under Resources and dow loaded Capridog and Pixelquick's portavle version? Comes with the Toy 2 fix and I think dgVoodoo as well. Run regsetup.exe first. Perhaps it was the installation process that was the problem, in which case downloading the portable version and running regsetup.exe shold fix that.
In general, IL times on the board will be 1 second less than in-game time because in-game time starts on 1 second.
However, in your case, it would be longer than 6 seconds since you spent time in the home menu, which is included for our official timing but not in-game time. You'd have to count the frames.
When in doubt, you can just put an estimate or something and we'll retime it. :)
Smh y'all sayin the game has a low skill ceiling but everyone's doing glitchless lol
Thank you for your insight on this! There's actually been some discussion on whether it should be allowed. It seemed hardware-dependent, but we weren't entirely sure. We also did look at the frame rate display to make sure the trick wasn't being done during FPS dips, but based on what you're saying even if it says 60 FPS there might be some dips. Interesting
I'll discuss it in the Discord with the other mods/runners.
Speaking of which, join the Discord if you want :)
Yeah, the autosplitter sucks and certain things don't work on different PCs. I gave up on fixing it at the moment, it's difficult to debug since it works perfectly for me. The only thing I can say is if you reboot a bunch it might work. Sorry
Though if you (or anyone else) happen to have experience with making autosplitters I'd be glad to work with you to get it fixed :)
Yep lol. I just wrote a guide that will hopefully clear up confusion people have about the glitch. https://www.speedrun.com/toree_3d/guide/f90uo
Let me know if anything is unclear, as I did not spend too much time on it.
Yes, it's up to the people who did the run whether they want to upload them. A lot of full runs on the leaderboard likely have faster times than many of the ILs as well.

Here is the autosplitter assuming the timing rules are changed: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ldaICocNnyuUeByGPfyvscdkG6kxNtCY/view?usp=sharing
If you have the time I would test it out to make sure it doesn't work for me only, as maybe you have a slightly different version or something.
Thanks!
Hey,
So I made an autosplitter for Frog Frenzy 2, but then realized after making it that according to the rules, timing starts when Level 1 is selected, as opposed to when gameplay starts.
Would it be okay if the runs were retimed to when gameplay starts? I personally think it makes more sense for all of the initial menuing to be out of the way before the timer starts. I was also doing run attempts with this timing.
If not then I can try to modify the autosplitter but it might be tricky.
Also I PB'd by like 40 seconds but wasn't recording 😄
Lol I did some testing, and it looks like keyboard is indeed faster, but only for diagonal movement.
Also, would it be reasonable to allow a program like Joy2Key or antimicro to map the analog stick on to the arrow keys?
So for no level skips couldn't you theoretically get no stars then and use the menu glitch to bypass star requirements?
Anyone :) ? Also, in my opinion, the main category should be No Level Skips. Any% is trivial and you could argue it's not even completing the game. It's just skipping to an end cutscene. In fact, it's not even skipping to the actual end-of-game cutscene. It's skipping to the one you unlock after completing the final bonus stage. And you haven't made any actual progress in the game. It's not as if all the main levels will be unlocked after you do this. Just my thoughts though. What do guys think?
Hello, I noticed that the individual level leaderboards on SRC are almost empty, but Quaker299 has some very impressive times on the Steam leaderboard. Are there any videos of those runs? I'd like to learn all the strats and skips. Thanks!
