If i would make an autosplitter for this game, what would happen to all the runs currently on the leaderboard?
Depends on how the autosplitter would work and where it would split. Regardless, only the Any% category would be affected since it's the only category where it'd matter in terms of timing precision.
I managed to make an autosplitter, i added you on Discord to speak about how it works, how you have to use it etc.
@Racingmonster well autosplitter make it easier for the mods, since they dont have to retime every run and as a playwe you always know when you beat your last run, autosplitters are essencial in very short runs. Imagine running 5s runs for 2 hrs and then having to retime every run with sony vegas. I hope you get my point ^^
@Racingmonster You implement the autosplit-file as stated in the Resources-Tab where you download the autosplitter. Once that's done, starting the split and splitting works automatically. In case you have problems, you may post it here or contact tcd11 (who made the autosplitter).
As can be seen in the current run of tcd11, it is often not possible to determine the frame where granny starts moving (unless one has an input viewer in the VOD) which is why the Sony Vegas solution often isn't accurate.
Also the other boards aren't wiped for (a) the reason tcd11 mentioned and (b) the other categories are not in need of more precise timing due to them not being 6 seconds long - so an autosplitter doesn't make sense for those.
The demo you can download from the steam page of The Graveyard is free and differs from the full version only by not being able to die on the bench; everything else is the same. Therefore, since the autosplitter is only for Any%, you should be able to simply download that free demo and run Any% on it. For the other categories like Bench% or Survival%, you can use your dev copy without problems.
The autosplitter doesn't work :/ What a shame I can't run because of things that aren't even apart of the game. That is honestly an ignorant idea on the part of the moderators that decided 'Hey how about we just force them to use an autosplitter so that it makes it easier on our behalf'. Cool, you got an autosplitter, making it a rule that you have to use it is a shit move as it makes my job a lot harder. It is honestly not THAT hard that you have to retime.

As you can see in the splitter code, this autosplitter only checks if the game is in the menu or not. So there is no way for the livesplit to start the timer when granny starts moving on first input. I might be able to find the values using Cheat engine and make a better splitter.
