We already have some categories in mind, but we're open to suggestions, request some categories here! (This thread will be closed once we have enough valid categories.)
possibly the metal madness event. unless it is limited time in which case that wouldn't work.
Well , it would be a limited time obby so if you got the world record you would keep it , however it is fair that because if nobody could do it anymore than there wouldn't be a point in having it unless people wanted to keep their title ; I would suggest the world obbies before the races because they are the ones which are actual obbies. Yes I wrote a paragraph on it because I'm used to doing this!
Maybe you could add leaderboards for the Lost Valley, Emerald Hill, Snow Valley and Hill Top obbies.

just one thing in the all world obbies category is green hill obbies included cause i have submitted an all world obbies speedrun which is only the other worlds (except chemical plant obv)
Green Hill Obbies do not count for all world speedruns
would you be opposed to adding a category for beating the world obbies backwards? if you go back through the portal after beating the obby you can do it backwards.
its only been 11 days since the game released and if there was that many categories it would get too complicated and impossible to get world records on all of them

@ethanbishopp03 For the current category, "Unlocking World Obbies before start of run is NOT allowed." However I will think about allowing beating them in whatever order, maybe in a subcategory but for now it's not allowed.

We should make a category for the new metal sonic event, it's literally a race so it's perfect to be a category
@Sticka I don't know about adding events into the mix since once the event ends nobody can run it and there's a WR nobody can ever beat
Are you sure you can get Oob on all worlds? I know you can on green hill but im not sure about the other worlds.
You can, you can launch from one of the brown rocks in Lost Valley, You can go on top the rock formations near spawn and Spindash near a rock thing and clip your way out in Emerald Hill, If you go on top of those weird half loops in Snow Valley and Spindash you can get out, In Hill Top if you go to the tallest tower and jump towards the void you can get out, And in Chemical Plant on the second part of the loop you can easily just jump over the fence.
in the description of the game it now says: "◉ Aerial Assault, Mach Madness and Mechanic Tails are PERMANENT updates!" so i guess that the new plane thing and metal madness/ mach madness could be added now.
Hello everyone, the All Quests category will be removed from the Full Game leaderboards due to the lack of runs and lack of interest from the community. It was also a bit hard to moderate. Everything else shall remain the same.
I am always open for category suggestions :)
