I'd like to advocate for a new category in Sonic Mania. I call it sound mode. essntially we're allowed to access sound test but for the run to count we must pick Green Hill act 1. use of hidden codes can be its own sub category. same with debug mode, obviously banning the use of the signpost item as it's too op and would make runs be so impossible to beat. meaning you still have to beat the level legitimately. who thinks this is a good idea?

Don't see a need for it tbh.

honestly I was looking for it because I suck at games and having a handicap would be cool.
