NG+ Laser Pistol duping

So, a trick that was recently discovered is the laser pistol dupe and I realized no one really explained it so if anyone is new and wants to learn here we go.

So in NG+ the laser pistol for whatever reason spawns twice, I don't know if the designers thought well you might miss it the first time lets set it so it has a second spawn in the house the second time because the house will be deloaded and need to have it's assets loaded again or something?

Anyways so you grab the laser pistol on the first house trip like usual and continue through the mausoleum glitch and then when you return and are heading up to the attic you literally just grab it again. And it breaks the game.

So the theory behind why this happens is that the game is most likely coded so each weapon you pick up goes "Weapon picked up value +1" with a default value of 0 for having none. So, when you pick it up a second time it goes to two, this mean when you lose your weapons in lair and have to fight the order guards and curtis the code does something along the lines of all weapons -1 value. But because the laser pistol is at 2 you simply keep it. 
And it one shots all order guards if headshots otherwise two shots, and one shots Curtis, so you don't even need to deal with that fight at all.

It's a really random but simple glitch that saves a decent amount of time and makes it so segmented pillar boost would be less efficient if someone wanted to increase the run time farther.

To use LRT for PC runs, please follow the following steps:

- Right-click on Livesplit
- Select "Edit Splits..."
- Click the "Activate" button
- Click "OK"
- Right-click on Livesplit
- Hover mouse over "Compare Against"
- Change to "Game Time"

This LRT does not feature autostart/split/reset functio
