Rewind Tricks:  

To cancel fall damage, wait until the sound of the Prince hitting the ground happens, rewind and cancel immediately, then rewind a second time, cancel when the prince comes back to life. 

To extend a jump, rewind to a moment the prince had forward momentum in the jump. 

Consistent Sand Poles: 

Begin 10% above the base, or 10% below the top of the pole. Make vertical motions.
