Hey I just started speedrun few days ago. And till today I just realized there's a boat glitch where the boat goes backward sometimes. I have no idea how that happened. I lost 15-30 seconds because of that. I had 2 runs (which is my pb) and both of them had the same glitch on the boat.

That either happens because you enter the boat too fast sometimes using the bed, or you are moving around on the boat when the boat has started moving. (not fully sure why, but that is usually the reason why it goes back)

I started going for the barrel before the boat and also not having too much air time, not grabing the ropes also helps, also, dont go to the front of the boat and come back, never got that bug again

There is a mast on the boat that everybody climbs for later jump off, try to avoid climbing the highest point of the mast and it won't glitch. For some reason boat resets because it registered as having no body aboard if that makes sense to you. It also happens if you climb the boat from the side barrels. Try to dodge side barrels and don't climb highest part until you are close to jump off.

Unlike many games that push ads and complexity, stickman hook is refreshingly honest. It knows what it wants to be — a fun, skill-based game with tight mechanics — and it never pretends to be more. That authenticity makes it stand out.

I used to speedrun a few games, but encountering weird glitches like this really ruined my mood.
