To use this save, enter the folder located in %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\RedCandleGames\NineSols (paste this route into Windows Explorer, or get into ://Users/youruser/AppData/LocalLow.

Choose any one of the saveslot0-3, and paste the contents inside the zip folder into the saveslot folder.

You can also set this up with the Save Manager for easier access.

MOD EDIT: This tool only reads old version saves (Speedrun Branch fits into this category) since saves were rewritten into a compressed .sav format since a specific patch. You can still import a save into an existing slot, but it won't read new format saves.

Nine Saves is a simple, unofficial save manager application for Nine Souls.

Currently, the game has only four save slots available, and doesn't let you save to them freely. This tool allows you to back up your save slots with useful names, as well as load save backups into your existing slots.

Nine Saves is compatible with [KaitoMajima's excellent save collection](https://www.speedrun.com/nine_sols/resources/q18cg). After running the program for the first time, just extract the collection into the program's save directory. You can find out where this directory is on your OS in the [readme on Github](https://github.com/semilin/nine_saves).

To use them just replace the "saveslot3" folder inside Users/youruser/AppData/LocalLow/RedCandleGames/NineSols (you can also put %appdata%/../LocalLow into your windows explorer) with any of the saveslot3 folders from inside the segment folder you want to practice.

[OUTDATED] Demo Practice Saves

This is a collection of a plethora of saves between many progress points in the game. There are save points before bosses, achievement specific saves and normal/true ending requirement saves. Have fun!

Use: Replace the **saveslot0** folder inside YourDrive:/Users/(you)/AppData/LocalLow/RedCandleGames/NineSols with any save in the collection.

WARNING: The save Lvl1TrueEigong requires you to also replace (or create) the **saveslot0_BeforeNoReturnPoint** folder. This is due to an issue in the externally modified flags of the save that sets the game to completed after returning to the menu. Creating the folder will always make the player respawn in the last root node as a workaround. (This is planned to be fixed)/

Upon discussion it was decided that runs for all categories, will have a lower cap of 60FPS, for both Capped and Uncapped restrictions. This should make the runs more accessible in terms of installation, no need for external software, and any FPS changes that need to be done can be done
