So, I was wondering, why Emulators are banned for this game but not for Monster Hunter G. I sadly do not have the possibility to record on a console so I was just wondering what the reason behind this was.
For systems like PS2, xbox, wii etc emulation is always banned because those emulators tend to run/load faster and have less lag than original hardware. So its basically unfair cause your game is running faster than people who are playing on the original hardware, this advantage also changes a lot depending on the persons PC specs too.
It is true that recording ps2/ps3 can be a pain in the ass, especially if you don't own one but overall it's just not fair. Ofc you can still practice runs of said game on emulator, but to get a verified run you must play on the original hardware the game was made for.
Also Emulator is banned for Monster Hunter G.
Thank you for the answer. Emulation on G was available but I have now been told it was due to an oversight.
