I'm currently doing a 200 hour speedrun, and I'm wondering how I'm supposed to submit all of that footage? Can I cut it into multiple twitch VODs?
It seems like something fun to do so cool, but im gonna adress this: It is in the rules that a run can get rejected for cleary not having any purpose or intent in actualy managing to beat it as fast as posible, which is the whole purpose of an speedrun, and same goes if you are trying to do just the reverse (an slowrun) Even tho a mod shouldn't criticate if a run shouldn't be in the leaderboard for being so bad, there are clear signs that can make this a rejection reason, like just leaving the game consistently inactive for extremely long amounts of times, or going out of your way completly in order to not beat the game, as it can be if you are just making a whole castle mid-run without any purpose for this run I think I remember seeing a 111 hours run submitted in the lb in this way, but no one can ensure you it will be accepted if you prolongue it in such an absurd measure
The only reason why the week long run was verified was because it was a one-off instance and because it was a joke. If you do a run, the mods have the power to reject your run, especially since they don't want people to submit stupidly long runs
Imagine being a mod, having to slog through 200 hours of footage of a slowrun with no prize. 🥴
I'm 135 hours in at this point. Probably going to just stop at 150 hours though.
It will get instantly rejected and won't show up on the leaderboard. Mods won't waste their time verifying runs that are intentionally dragged on and pointless.
