THE FINALE SUCKED. SO BAD. But it's ok. I did it. I get to say that I held one main leaderboard solo record in L4D, something I never thought I would ever be able to say. A good run for me would be a low 9:5x but I don't think I can take another 1000 restarts just to get a run into map 4. Overall the run is definitely beatable, and I'm sure it will be beaten soon. But I'm ok with that.
If I got the finale of my 10:00 in my 10:03 then I would have about a 9:52 or so, but whatever. It is what it is. Maybe someday when I've improved at the game I'll give it another go. But for now, I'm okay with stopping at this. The amount of RNG you need just to even get close to this time is ridiculous as it is, between common spawns on map 1, the common jump + SI/tank/etc on map 2, the rare lack of item spawns on map 3 and the common jump at the end, the potential for a bile spawn for the common jump + alleyway spawns on map 4, and the pitifully bad tank/common spawns you can get on the finale - it's just ridiculous and not something I have the energy to tolerate more of at the moment.
