Don't give a shit as in there not active at all? If so I think we need some new mods for the Guitar Hero games. I'm pretty sure the mod for GH:Live (JasonParadise) hasn't been on the site since posting his GH:Live FGFC run.

I'm a moderator of the first Rock Band game if anyone's interested in me being a mod for some of these GH games.

Not sure how active this game is for that, but as of 03/29/2025, I ran the game Solo Quest and have decided to lay some rules for this.

Time:

Starts upon "Start Quest!"

Ends upon the Black Screen showing "The Beast" to be beaten (post 'Sudden Death')

Set up:

MUST be a new quest file, the character cutscenes have to play in order to make it fair.

Preferences of your choice: Hyperspeed, Calibration, Audio.

Diffillculty and Instrument have to be chosen (I decided Expert - Guitar)

Rules:

Pausing (in game) is allowed.

Restarts are allowed.

Practice mode is allowed.

No switching difficulty

Any order is fine, so long as you beat the chapeter.

You can hop around, but I did one chapter at a time for consistent timestamps.

Types of Runs:

Solo Any% - (beat the quest, minimum requirements)

Solo 100% - (dominate quest)

If you are crazy/skilled enough - FGFC (no quest mode for this, but you can if you want to I guess)

It is very much possible that there are faster times, but I found minimal information on this online. So as far as I call tell, this is currently the record and the only "documented" run of this Solo.

Guide: you can skip the animation result with the "start" button. As soon as it registers, you have to hit "green". This saved me little time, but added up drastically (as I lowered the coop time).

Be mindful of your skill: Axel takes 40 stars to get his encore and beat the chapter. You need a MINIMUM of 5 per song. (3 stars + 2 ankh).

You can skip songs if you manage to get 8 songs for 5 of them.

In this run I managed to skip 2 songs due to me consostnetly getting 7 [I skipped Indians and (You Can Still) Rock in America]

@Ipeppermint Seeing how this game last had a run 5 years ago, you could try messaging the mod to see if they can add that run as a new category.

If they don't reply for quite a while, maybe contact the site owners to see if they could add that category for you?

Okay, I'll message them once I am less occupied, typically the weekends. I am trying to find a way to record this though...

So I sent them a message but got denied lol. I need to check later tody after work to see what was wrong

Ahhh, I mistakenly did "game" rather than category. Will be (re)submitting once home. It appears I got off early today.

Update: I have to wait a few days to submit a run (category) and I will need video according to what I read.
