In the file there is the blue line that is the recommended route by rockstar the red is the route that is run in all catagories I was thinking when looking at the route that the green route could be a better route due to it being a little more direct. Second little thing is the car, the white car has better some better stats according to rockstar . This may not lead to anything, or may already been tested but i thought i might do something.
regarding the white car, it already has been tested. it's slower because you have to run longer to get to the white car than to get to the red car. overall, it's not worth it
could you please link the picture directly? because I can't access the file due to it not being on my PC. and as far as taking the 9F instead of the Rapid GT, you have to consider that it takes longer to get in the 9F (around a second or 2, I'd say) and the new route you found has to be able to save that or even more time. as for the car that Lamar gets, that doesn't matter. and if it doesn't save the time required to take a few extra steps to enter the 9F, then the only hope is the new route you found. if it ends up being faster than current WR routes with the Rapid GT, we could try it out with the 9F and see what happens then.
However, I don't think It's wise to make a decision right now. especially because I can't see your screenshot. But the Idea does give me a little hope
Edit: now, we only need a working link to the route. if it ends up being faster with the Rapid GT, it could shave off maybe 0.5 to 1.5 seconds MAX, I'd say. and this is just a guess

copy and paste
Sorry to say it, but that would only work if we had the picture on our devices. Try uploading it to, say, google drive, and then share it using the ‘people with link can view it’ option, then share the link here

this is the shareable link also in that folder is a possible route for complications
The link works. Regarding the route, if there would be any, time save could be inconsistent. since, to my knowledge, no one has tested that route yet, we don't know fixed spawns for peds in that area. hitting one or more would, I think, negate the time save. Then again, because this has never been tested, we will need to know. I will test (and record) it later today, and link the video here to show the route in real time.
OK, so I've tested it for the 5th time now, and for the 5th time in a row, my footage got corrupted. keeping in mind that I'm not a speedrunner of this game (yet), the route is, in theory, faster. the problem arises with the scripted truck that appears when you exit the movie studio. this blocks the green path off, forcing you to take the blue path. overall, I've found it to not be worth it, since the scripted truck is a thing (the same kind that you use in the jewelry store heist.) if a more experienced runner can test this and can find it to be faster, by all means it's a faster strat. but as of now, it's game over for that route
As for the suggested routes on complications, none of them are faster. Even though there are less turns, the extra distance we have to drive would cost too much time. Even while hitting all my brake boosts I couldn't get near my normal time. The route on Franklin & Lamar is quite interesting. The route itself is indeed faster and the scripted truck is easily avoidable. The only problem is that I actually go too fast, causing me to lose Lamar. I tried slowing down at different points. While this helped, I would lose too much time doing this. On my best attempt I was four seconds slower than the drive on the IL Record. Unfortunately I'd say that the route wouldn't save time.
