A week ago, I sent a ticket to become Super Moderator and I was successful. Nothing has happened here in almost 2 years and that is all about to change. I have refined this page and added 3 new categories: All Daily Achievements, Random Tracks and Points for people to submit runs that aren't fully campaign-related like the preexisting categories.

I've appointed Cerasium as a Verifier and we will both stay active and verify all new runs that are submitted (unless something is odd about them of course). I hope this page becomes active again and that new people discover this great game to not only submit runs but join our amazing Community.

And thus, The Next Generation of Free Rider HD on speedrun.com begins.

Hello, As an introduction, i have been running the game in the 2018 era for around 2 month and then stopped since the hyped died down during that time. I've been the only active mod of the game since then and have done my best to approve run although nor really interacting with the community since then.

Since a lots of people are coming over from the frhd community, I have decided to add Volund as a super Moderator and will let him add more moderator / verifier since he is more in touch with the community and know more who to trust.

Going forward, i have added "spacebar" and "no spacebar" as different category to run for each campaign.

More over, i am currently discussing with Volund to change the current timing to igt instead of rta, to make it more fair for user who experience loading lag and for people who aren't using add-block. This will of course require more work for the mod team since run will take longer to re-time (and also have to re-time previously submitted run) so hopefully we can get more member on the moderator team to help us.

On the bad side, it is kinda hard to implement spacebar and no spacebar for the il leaderboard as currently only the ghost are required. I personally think that adding video requirement can be a bad choice considering the immense amount of level. This would amount to 100 video per user if they submit every single one of their campaign time which can be a lots to verify. Which is why currently the il will allow spacebarring and no spacebarring in the same category. This can still be open to discussion and id like to see what you guys think but this is the decision for now.

For the future i am considering trying to get a category extension so we can add user created level on the leaderboard. However, the admin of src need to accept this request so i will wait till there is more member running the game to submit a request to have more weight on the demand. Citing the support page "a "Category Extensions" board may be allowed to popular games to accommodate additional category sections on a case by case basis"
