The first game I recorded my runs for was Shelled Shinobi. It's a short, fast paced platformer that's easy to get into running.
twisted wizard is a fun game, but if you are looking for a fast paced platformer i would recommend scratchnapped

Scratchnapped is one of the least fast-paced platformers I have ever had the displeasure of running. The movement is sluggish, unintuitive, and inconsistent. Would not recommend.
I would, however, highly recommend Celeste Classic and Celeste Classic 2, as they are very fast paced platformers with satisfying movement and a high skill ceiling. My personal favorite game to run is Mobility, which is also fast-paced and was my first speedrun.

Go classic and hit up the original Castlevania! Challenging but fair... fun and iconic. Win win win.
