It is now clear that individual levels are not timed properly. Since those levels are very short, full precision at 30fps is necessary.
I propose the following criteria:
- first frame (frame A) is the frame in which Flagman is in reset position. This is the start position of the level and it is ALWAYS available, even without pressing "reset" and even if there is a setup like the boss boost;
- last frame (frame B ) is the frame in which Flagman touches the opened door, and it is determined by the presence of the black border. The black border is star shaped and it determines the end transition of the level.
Also, I suggest that all future full runs (glitchless and any%) are timed the exact same way. First, a check of all the run is done by eye, to see if all rules are respected. Then, frame A and frame B are determined, with frame A the first frame in which Flagman is in reset position in level 1, and with frame B the last level ending, at the appearence of the black border.
Do you agree? Maybe we need one more moderator to help retime all individual levels.
Due to the recent discovery of glitches that allow levels to be skipped, found by @Nuno137, which you can find here:
The rules for IL have been updated. Using this glitch in individual level runs is now prohibited. The glitch can still be used in An
