I imagine the N key glitch isn't allowed? Nor is starting level 1, going to level select to skip to level 20, and beating that? Forgive me if these are unnecessary to state, I just thought that at the very least the N key glitch should be mentioned and prohibited for clarity's sake.
Hi Tirar, could you explain what you mean by the N key glitch? I don't believe I've heard of this before.
Skipping directly from Level 1 to Level 20 (assuming you have already unlocked level 20) is not allowed. I have updated the category rules accordingly, runs must be completed as if you start with only level 1 unlocked.
I'm interested in the recent level skip glitch you have discovered. Is this glitch only possible if you have already beaten all the levels? Or is it possible on a fresh copy of the game? If its the latter please may you provide proof of this when you have the chance. I'll hold off on approving your run until then. :3
On a fresh copy of the game, the level skip is still possible but it would just take a different form, as the skipped level isn't unlocked but any subsequent levels beat normally are unlocked. I can try the run again, if you'd like, with a fresh copy.
As for the N key glitch, if you press the N key you auto skip a level (even level 20, although this soft locks the game as it tries to load "level 21").
Yes please, I'd like to see how this level skip would work on a fresh copy of the game. If it's still possible then it would be allowed in Any%.
The N key glitch is interesting, I never knew you could do this! :O This sounds more like a leftover from developer testing than a proper glitch. Regardless, this is banned in Any% as it would completely trivialise the run.
