How do you get 170km/h in game? By using Scania with 730hp engine and 6 gear transmission I'm getting 160 as max and bit over in slopes. Tried multiple trucks and configurations, nothing goes over 160 for me. Does the max speed on same trucks differs between wheel and keyboard users?

Jup, that should be it. It is about gearbox + engine combo

Combination of the best of the gearboxes (lowest net gear ratio after the differential multiplier has been taken into account) and best engine (Volvo has slightly more power than Scania at 750 vs 730). Wheel vs keyboard is definitely a consideration when moving through corners, though - generally it seems you can maintain a higher speed when turning with a wheel, vs other control systems.
