At least on set seed categories, you simply can't get records without the fastest input method. This introduces barriers for entry, since not everyone has a controller, touchscreen, etc. In my opinion these splits are necessary, and may also become necessary on random seed runs if they get optimised.

If input method gets split before decks I'm gonna lose it.

I don't think this will be necessary on unseeded runs for a while, but for a seeded runs the gap in input devices is huge
