maybe individual mazes? i was thinking of a category for specifically the scavenger hunt but then thought of individual mazes in general
i was thinking about this too, but I think most mazes would be optimized instantly because most of them only require a set amount of moves the circle has to make, like "the exit is literally right there", " Buried treasure", and the construction one which would make an easily obtainable time that is impossible to beat because it is fully optimized.(unless we find glitches or something) But ones like the scavenger hunt and " my 6 year old made this puzzle" would definitely be better because it has more room for optimization because you have to use the cursor and such.
So I not to sure about making a level for all mazes but a few of them would potentially be cool to have.
also probably not gonna add new categories until we get more Any% runners cuz we only have 2 :P
I was thinking about this too, but it has the same flaws that I said about some of the normal mazes in the game which makes me hold back from adding it later. Still not too sure though.
there should be mazes with multiple possible solutions, that would make speedrunning it more interesting
What's the rule for ILs about moving the cursor to a specific spot before going into a new game? So the first input is just a click instead of swiping the cursor to the desired puzzle. I'm just talking about just a couple of frames of timesave. But yeah, as it is now, the mouse will never be in the middle of the screen because you need to move the menu puzzle first before starting a new file. Just asking first so this can be cleared up.
Yes the first input is clicking because the cursor could be in different spots for everyone.
