Hi all,
I completed a 1 loop run on the C64. I did die once on Blues and managed to get a 3m 13s time. I captured the frame rate and the buttons pressed, however I didnt start from fresh I was just playing loop after loop until got some decent attempt. So would this be a problem to get accepted on the LB, because no gamereset is present in the video?
I am not playing an orginal version using VICE (C64 Emulator)
Cheers
I didn’t see how the game is going on this port on C64, but I can say for sure that runs should start with a reset of the game, it’s very strange to pull out a piece not from the beginning, you can do a run with a reset and I will create a category for you, thanks for understanding.
Hi,
thanks for the answer, sure thing sounds fair to me. I just wanted to know, that maybe the run still could be legit, despite the hard reset.
Here is my run btw.
Restarting on the C64 is taking long and I wanted to play instead of constantly restart the game and wait so I just kept playing loop after loop to save time.
Cheers
after looking at your run, I thought that it is quite possible to allow this for this port, given its features, just move the start of the countdown to the appearance of the first level inscription, but still oblige to be sure to show a piece of the previous run, a little later I will create a category, with these rules, you can send jogging into it, as it is, I myself will recalculate the time.
