the cutscene skip magic continues to elude me

There's an inkle discord server where a fair amount of the speedrun talk happened over time - would recommend just using that instead of a new server (especially given how few people are running this game)

a year after: I've added game rules for the current version and new runs that you can watch. It's unfortunate that the old runs seem to be lost forever!

almost a year later: console runs should be fine! it's essentially the same game and there's no one running it anyway :)
