I've started replaying this game hoping to finally complete it, and I remembered that some of the "boss blocks" on the overworld can be skipped. At least, it is possible to jump from Deeso to Atlena. Is this useful in any way, or does the game force you to fight all the bosses before finishing it?
Mostly for my own future reference, here's my list of practice passwords: https://gist.github.com/madewokherd/54df070c885845c7ea722b1097802c8f

The IGT at the end of this run clearly shows 34:57 https://www.speedrun.com/Ricochet_Xtreme/run/yl42n4xm
However, adding up the IL times gives me 34:54 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K2V3EmCM9xVQb1PFKe1Vm1dBfnZKXYT4mJVPzGvZvgk/edit#gid=0
This is a discrepancy of somewhere between 0.05 and 0.1 seconds per level. I don't know what could account for this.
I really don't want to switch to RTA, as I don't think the game would be fun to run that way. I also don't want to require runners to add up their level times, nor do I want anyone to be penalized if the overall game tally is inaccurate.
An autosplitter would be really nice, and might give some insight as to what's going on, but I don't have time to work on that right now.
Since the sum of IL times is lower, I'm tempted to say that runners should submit with the scoreboard time, but I will retime based on individual levels.
Hi, I made a save to help me practice acid skips. It has hiveblood, and queen's station is unlocked.
