So total amount = 24 of completely difference runs in therms of tactic, strategy etc. Thats not enough? Are you went crazy? HELLO?
I have an idea. Instead of adding meaningless categories, let's concentrate on such categories as Knife Nemesis% and Nemesis%. Thanks to my friend Victor, for his help during analyzing of your speedruns.
Knife only - Original, Arrange . Nemesis % - Original, Arrange .
The truth is that this is not correct abbreviation for these categories. I'll explain as much good as i can. So here is a deal. I think you will not deny the fact that during the speedrun of these categories all of involved speedrunners there using a bug (glitch) ,because it will be at least strange thing from your side - to deny the truth. Which exactly bug im talking about? Lemme explain: Everyone who is involved into this categories there using such bug as error of ingame logics / AI of Nemesis (Dchaps can help you with explain of this therm), in some locations during your speedrun route (buildings / furniture / corners (whatever) , you there using it for such purpose as manipulating Nemesis AI (during the fights). In this case Nemesis cannot oppose you with anything. Process memory there reading and right after the start of manipulation trigger, which one btw you prefer to call... ugh .... "Perfect Tactics", on deal is nothing more but using ingame error on this place in game. Sad thing is - that was forgotten by developers.
Explaining in much more understood language for all of you, about what are you doing, believe me or not:
When you there proceed in to needed corner (for example "fight" with Nemmy in Marvin Room) and by this thing (staying in corner) you there generate that trigger , which, in turn, is responsible in that "appearing error" in game logics / AI of Nemesis. And after that , when Nemmy trying to close distance with Jill, just simply trapped himself in that area, which one have that "error", and by this moment Nemmy is just got violated for a certain period of time in therms of behavior, and that in this its just contradicts the algorithms of the game (in game logics)
So my offer is add such prefix as (glitched) to those 2 non fresh categories, and create new ones with needed prefix (no glitch) Knife Nemesis% / (no glitch) Nemesis% but ofc i bet, that better way to all of you who involved in this category - is to feeling safe during "fights" LUL then recieving some adrenalin during real fights vs Nemesis. Now just try to say that im offer no interesting type of run.

Ok , about adding new category - Fully Agree, cuz 1st of all it will be like a breath of fresh air for Biohazard 3 community. 2nd Its interesting to learn & its funny!!!

UGH... So much of self-confidence here .Show this in the relevant topic, if any exist at all, okay? We here engaged in a discussion, about adding of new category and not about narcissism, or troll, senice of humor etc. Whatever! More specifics on this topic, comrade, and not about that you probably have "Big Balls" (if, of course, I guessed with the size).
RE2 Leon A, Leon B, Re3 (Mediakite);(Taiwan) Original / Arrange
The thing is that recieving such lag between camera skips, door loadings, and after cutscene, is that you running .exe file of re2 with compability mode, just uncheck that option in exe file of the game and run just as administrator rights. That will fully solve your problem.

To manage Croc way faster u need to be frame perfect when dropping canister after 3-rd shake of head this green monster. If u'll manage to drop canister too early , he just walk to you as usual, if u dropped canister too late u can be dead. (That strat save 1.76 sec instead of default tactic).
Well, here is my try to answer u, as good as i can. To complete game, as fast as u can u should play in PC version, cause its more comfy, stable & fastest (atm) version for speedrun. Biohazard & resident evil difference : 1. Original title In Homeland (JAP) 2. Subt, text on their language, which is faster to scroll then eng. 3. Able to skip door animation, instead cutscenes (gc vers) which, again, much faster. About difficult - in bio2 - same 3 types - easy , normal , hard ( nightmare). About any chances to challenge top runs - Your own wish for be in top list + practice, practice,practice. Hope this was helpful.

Honestly, my 1-st opinion , after i saw this video + some comments here , was like - "Does some buddies here trying to make game look like RE3 MediaKite, in therms of speed up in loading areas, for make it JUST COMFY, OR FASTER, OR THAT SHOULD BE A CATEGORY BECAUSE ITS FASTER, FOR ONLY THEMSELVES!? (No hard feelins I m not going to argue here ANYBODY !!!)
That thread putted me in final stage of my rage. Guys im fine with DIC strats , cuz its SAVE TIME TACTIC and not reg. manipulation, im fine with QUICKSHOTS, cuz its SAME thing. But when you creating thread and asking about just a problem, then try and solve, dont make from it an attempt for asking on adding 100% DEAD CATEGORY . Why its dead? Just tell me who be able to run it? You, @speedrunxyz? @Supergamer57 ? Ok, WHO ELSE? Other Re3 Mediakite runners? You made my day.
Guys, ALL of SuperOldSchool, OldSchool Speedrunners WAS & WILL SPEEDRUN THIS GAME on 100% legit. They doesnt need of mode this game, they just wanted competition. When i was new in community in all therms & wanted myself to be atleast one of the best, I realized something: I MUST BE 1. Honest. 2. Respectful 3. Fair play Opponent. I watched best speedruns of top5-10 players in this game & was fully agree with rules. The rules guys are really simple and same as in 2013 when i was 1st time here, but GAME its much harder, then almst any of resi games (there are exceptions), I knew it from very beginning.
By adding this, as already 1 Good Person says, you just saying like - ahhh f¤¤¤ you, it doesnt matter for me, cuz its faster & comfy, to all hard works of top15 for trying & reach "sub 50 club"!!!!
SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! - JUST THINK FOR HOW F¤¤¤ MUCH TIME IT WAS COSTED, ATLEAST TO SUCH GENIUS PRO AS JIKKACHAN IS, FOR HIS BRILLIANTS TACTICS (HE MADED THAT FOR ALL COMMUNITY!!!)
So result of my post is : Guys, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO! Want to crush WHOLE PC CATEGORY by ADDING Stupid Type of run? - GO AHEAD! But I know for f¤¤¤ shure - not only ME remained loyal to SPEEDRUN this game!!!! NOBODY CAN DELETE THE CLASSIC CATEGORYS!
P.S & Be shure, if you (ANYBODY) will sub 49 min for Leon A, WITH ADDS , believe - you wouldnt be №1 for ME.

No problem for me, after switching to win10, just running bio2 & bio3 with win7 compability mode, thats solves all the problems for me, at least.
