Hey I submitted a run 1 month ago to https://www.speedrun.com/rakugaki_showtime I noticed that the mod hadn't been active very recently so I sent them a message on twitch letting them know about my run and asking to be a mod. They seem to be active on twitch but I haven't got a response. Can I be added as a mod so I can get my runs up?
I submitted a run to https://www.speedrun.com/crayonshinchan4gb quite a while ago and it has not been verified. There was one mod at the time, and I decided to just be patient. I checked the board a couple times and I noticed the mod still wasn't active, and didn't seem to be active on twitch either. Now nearly a year later I check the board again and there is no mod at all. I would like to be a mod to verify my run and future runs that are submitted.
Hey, it's cool to see someone interested in running this game :D unfortunately we don't have a guide video or a tutorial written up, but you can join us in the katamari speedrun discord https://discord.gg/tfQEskB where we have a WLK channel. I'd recommend running on console if you can. Composite capture cards can be pretty cheap, an I-o Data GV-USB2 is about $35 on amazon (it's what i use) and there is a good guide online for how to set it up for streaming.
