Sounds like an interesting concept however for it to be viable you would need to have some meticulously planned strategy or do a segmented style run where you gather the best times of each character, as I can't imagine failing a character run at a later wave would be very fun when you are multiple characters deep. I think you should go ahead with your idea, and depending on how you outline the challenge I might consider adding a leaderboard for it. In terms of making it verifiable I would look at the general run rules, but to briefly cover the basics having default enemy and player difficulty modifiers, no mods or external tool assistance and no major game breaking bugs, streaming or recording it is obviously a must and we require you to show the mods section of the menu and difficulty modifier settings prior to starting a run or end stats screen so that we can verify that you are in fact playing with default difficulty modifiers, however if you are going to go the route of having a segmented style run you should probably make that clear in the video title or description. Hopefully this answered your questions!
Hey sorry for the real late response, if you have a 10 minute VOD on twitch or something like that it would be fine. If it was a youtube video and there were cuts between restarts I would say showing settings again at the end is required.
Hey did you have a longer video showing the end screen? If you did could you send that to me, thanks
Hello again!
In regards to your question, I agree with Flauschiii that overall wave is more important than time, however should 2 players reach the same wave I believe whoever lasts the longest should be the decider of place on the leaderboard and as such I think a timer should still be used. I have edited the rules to attempt to make this more clear.
Thank you for bringing this up as I think it's important for the rules to be as clear as possible.
I also forgot to make a wave counting variable for the board however that should be in place and working for all future runs.
If you have any more questions feel free to post here or DM me. Cheers -Z
Hey sorry for the late response I have been busy with work and university and have had a busy easter :)
In regard to our endless% rules as long as you are playing on default enemy settings and not using mods.
There are no time limits rules at the current moment and I can't see us adding them anytime soon :D
Hope this helped -Z
Time adjusted due to delayed start. If you provide time from an editing software I can update however this is still WR with adjusted time, Congrats!
Hey, just regarding future runs, as I was able to see the end stats screen between restarts I was able to verify this however in your future submitted runs can you also include the end screen stats of the actual submitted time! Just makes it a little easier to verify. Thanks friend!
Hey sorry for not getting back to you sooner, this post does not give me any notifications. I have essentially set up the category and would like to know any feedback you may have. Also if you could send me the save files so I could upload it to the resources section I would greatly appreciate that (a mega link is preferable :) ) Thanks!
Hey thanks for bringing this up. I've discussed with the other mod and we think that the default settings make the most sense for the Death% category. I wouldn't be opposed to making another category for maxed out settings but I think that the default settings work the best currently. I will update the rules so this is more clear. Thanks for the post buddy!
Surviving is counted as defeating him. I may change the rule to getting a victory
