XStation is a ps1 mod to replace the optical drive with an sdcard drive replacement. As the game uses igt to track times would using this mod be acceptable. Im aware of some games like MMX4 that dont track/display IGT at end which would cause validation issues. But have been told x5 and x6 is ok. So im curious whats the ruling on RE series?

Im Vod. Couple months ago got inspired by watching some of the greats to try my hand at some speedruns. Its been really fun starting this venture as now theres a goal instead of casually playing plus the excitement of learning all the tricks and glitches i never knew.

Then used a hdmi2usb device, dont remember exactly what it was, till i got this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093V5WF8Y/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_50S7ZNZEN3QWRA5YR94N . Both worked great but i didnt like the length of the hdmi2usb.
