I call you all here today to honor the man by the name of Myles McCrone, the second person to get sub 4:00 on an Any% Classic run, and the first to run All Secrets Classic.

Myles is the person that has had the longest standing world record (As far as we know) for each category he ran in, and, at the time when both I and Novieus started running (Even though I technically started less than a month after Myles did his first [And last] runs).

Myles currently is the Time To Beat on this leaderboard, the pivotal point, Proof that you dont need aggressive skips to beat the game.

Myles is, as far as we know, the first one to do Bridge Skip on level 2, he optimized the pyramid route on Level 1, and he pulled off a surprisingly difficult jump to the 1st secret of Level 0.

While Myles never did fully optimize his runs, he still was faster than any of us. Even though he didnt use super advanced tech, barely even straying from the main path, and not optimizing combat by using skulls against other skulls, he got the World Record for 2 categories (THE ONLY CATEGORIES AT THE TIME), in ONE day.

Therefore, I hereby announce that from now on, September 1st be known in this community as "Myles Day"

If, at any time, Myles does return, I cant wait to see his reactions to the faster runs that have occurred.

Id like to give a big congratulations to Novieus for managing to pull of the skip I had theorized. I dont know what we will call it yet, but then again, its generally the entire community that names it.

Maybe put some suggestions for the official name down below.

I realize I have yet to upload that world record I was going for (Harder than I thought on my crappy laptop), but our ONLY moderator last logged in a few MONTHS ago.

@Darvae Sorry, I didnt know that I needed one. It says up at the top that if they are inactive for a while then you dont need a pending run and I assumed 4 months is enough

Hello there, not sure if I am doing this correctly, as I am quite new to this site.

I currently have been speedrunning a game called Enchain, and the current (and only) mod for it hasnt been on for 4 months. I have submitted runs for the game and tried contacting the current mod several times.

Im decently new to speedrun.com, made an account half a year ago or so but never really did anything. The game I am speedrunning, or trying to speedrun, is Enchain by Mathew Lawrence, yet its only mod is super inactive. Is there a way to somehow fix that issue by getting a new mod? Im really wanting to get back into the game

I dont want to seem pushy here, but what if I told you that getting the 5 blue skulls on level 1 to finish it wasnt required? Looking into it right now, but I almost reached it and think that with proper timing it will be possible. Could save up to 10 seconds or so due to inconsistent combat.

Currently the speedrunning leaderboard has been VERY inactive. I highly doubt anyone is still even moderating it or whatever, but after a long spell of boredom I have decided I will attempt to get the world record. Question is: Will I have competition?
