I think we had a similar situation with someone suggesting glitchless but no one ever submitted any runs for it.
Usually we don't like to add categories unless there's interest shown in it. We don't exactly want to clutter the boards with a bunch of empty runs, but our policy has always been if someone wants to run it well make a place for it. One of the other mods has been trying some runs of 2923 so well probably see that up there soon. As for the difficulties after a year of the game being out no one has every wanted to run anything other then normal so we just never though to add apocalypse if we couldn't get people that would run hard. Suppose we could throw it up there though just for the fact that it exists now.
you would be correct in saying that, my guess is he highlighted a twitch vod and those only last so long. Ill see if he has a backup.
In my opinion its hard to formulate a real plan for the future with these updates because it seams like the devs are super trigger happy with flipping everything on its head once a week. Nightmare having more health doesn't really matter since we kill him so fast anyways but theres a possibility of a future where they just remove every good item and we cant 1 faze him anymore. We really just cant tell what the devs will ruin next so there might be a point where we do have to just clear the leaderboard and start over.
As far as adventure mode it'll help people trying to get specific things and maybe we could start doing individual level runs. If they were to add actual expansions or dlc we might have to split the categories depending on what they add. Thats more up to how everyone feels when the time comes.
With co-op runs new game+ seams to be in a good spot. New game though is a little more tricky with the tutorial. We might end up needing to have every runner involved submit a video. If we see someone using something that the other player hasn't acquired though then thats a clear form of cheating.
These are my thoughts on a lot of this but ultimately what we chose to do will be up to what everyone thinks is best.
Ya we swapped to rta 4 days ago. Everything up there now is timed like that. The reason it’s collecting the orb is if you kill him and die at the same time the game sometimes glitches out and keeps the boss alive while counting as a kill. For all intensive purposes it is on kill when you get the kill. We’ve just had problems in the past with a boss not dying but you still getting credit for the kill.
Shit you're right, the time the run took was very close to that so I thought it was the world. I'll fix it, thank you for pointing that out.
